IMPORTANT UPDATE ON THE 2021 BETA SIGMA PHI FLORIDA STATE CONVENTION IN OCALA, FLORIDA

 

Dear Sisters,

The 2021 BSP Ocala Convention that was scheduled for April 30-May 2 was “Off to the Races” but now faces a little detour!  Due to the health concerns of the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Ocala Convention Committee has decided to change the date to October 1-3, 2021.  It will still be a Kentucky Derby themed convention and held at the Ocala Hilton. Keep working on those hats! It is our hope that our sisters will be more comfortable with the Fall dates and registrations will increase. Here is important information to know:

 

Convention Registration:  All current registrations will be moved to the October dates to save your place.  Registration is limited to 300 people, so send your registrations quickly.  Please contact Rana Hutson, Registration, if you cannot attend.

 

Hotel Information:  The Ocala Hilton will be cancelling all reservations made for the previous April 30 – May 2 block of rooms and will email you a cancellation notice.  If your room is not reserved under that room block, then you will need to cancel your room.  You will need to make a new reservation for the October dates using the new group code of “sigma”.  The room rate is still $159 plus tax. New reservations must be made prior to August 5, 2021 to guarantee the special room rate.  Any reservations after this date are subject to availability and at the hotel’s regular room rate.

 

Beta Boutique:  All the tables currently reserved for Beta Boutique will be moved to the new October dates.  Please contact Lynn Smallwood, Beta Boutique, if you need to cancel.

 

Convention Website and Facebook:  The Convention Website and Facebook will keep you posted on updates and will have all new convention forms with the appropriate dates.
